Lone Elm Park

 Overall Ranking: 8/10

This park is located off of Lone Elm road. It is in the middle of nowhere it seems, but is a secret gem. This complex is a five dirt fields with grass outfield. These are some generic fields used for smaller tournaments, league games and practices throughout the week. The fields have pretty rocky infields and rough outfield. The plays of the infield can sometimes be tricky playing here due to the unpredictable hops. This is the same for the outfield. Over the years of practicing here it has improved and gotten better for playing. This field is always rechalked between each league game and tournament that is ran here. The warm up space here is a bit of an issue. There are two little areas between fields where you can warm up. Along with an open field of grass by the indoor facility that is a bit of walk from the fields. This is where many go to warm up just for the amount of space there. Now onto the indoor facility, many use this space for winter practices with their teams. It includes a field space, three hitting tunnels and an area to hit off a tee. The space is fairly big and has space for spectators to watch practice. Throughout the winter, there are also hitting leagues that go on for teams to join.

The spectators have bleachers on both sides to watch the games. There is also an area in the middle of the fields with picnic tables that some sit at to spectate. Around this there is also space for chairs to be put up and watch as well. The concessions are at one end of the field in a big building. They include the normal ball park food and drinks.

For the kids coming along, there is a new playground. It is a turf area in the middle of the fields. It includes a jungle gym, slide, and a swing. This area, although nice, is not too protected from foul balls. It is a fair distance away from the fields so may not be a concern for the parents.
